Executive Chef Denise Smith is the California Chapter President of the National Black Chef's Association. She is also one of their 2021 award recipient for her charitable contributions during the pandemic. Chef Denise has provided meals and free food to over 8,000 people in the southern California area.

 Chef Denise also speaks at locate Middle schools to educate students about the culinary industry and healthy eating habits. She currently mentors chefs in her industry and has also partnered with So Cal Gas to provide free classes to seniors and youth in the community.

She was recently 1 of the 10 chefs featured in two articles on Food Network website about “Top Ten Things Chefs Love From Costco" and "Top Ten Things Chefs Love From Trader Joe's."

Chef Denise has been a chef at many celebrities events and has also worked alongside several celebrity chefs including Michelle Berstein, Stephanie Izard, Ludo Lefebvre and Suzanne Goin.
